Ingredients
1 batch of our IKEA meatball recipe (including meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy https://www.diealteseilerei.com/recipes-1/IKEA-Meatballs
Added to the mashed potatoes
1 tsp tumeric
1 Tbsp fenugreek leaves
2 egg yolks
1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
3 garlic cloves (roasted in the oven until brown, then smashed)
Added to the sauce
1 Tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 Tbsp marsala wine
1/2 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika powder
Method

Just prepare the IKEA Meatballs as desribed in our recipe including the mashed potatoes and the sauce. We will just add some alternative spices to it to give it a Alte Seilerei twist.
While you're doing that, add the 3 garlic cloves in the oven at 200°C fan until brown and soft.
Once the mashed potatoes are done add the two egg yolks and stir them in. We don't need a high heat anymore.
Add the additional ingredients and don't forget the garlic. Let is sit on the stove for 10 more minutes so the flavours have some time to develop.
For the sauce, just add in the additional ingredients and bring it to a simmer, so that some of the alcohol evaporates.
That's it! Our twist on our own recipe!
